Feeding Therapy
Helping Every Child Thrive
For most of us, eating and swallowing is as natural as breathing—we don’t have to think about it. But for some children with pediatric feeding disorders, eating a meal isn’t that simple. At EBS Clubhouse we take a multidisciplinary approach to evaluating and treating your child in order to address all components contributing to feeding difficulties. A Speech and Occupational therapist consider everything, including medical influences, posture and strength, sensory and motor challenges, and learned patterns of behavior. As a result, we’re able to develop a customized treatment plan provided in an individual or group setting that targets the root causes of your child’s feeding and swallowing issues. Parent education is a vital component of this program, therefore our team may recommend treatment here in our clinic and at home, to ensure parents have the knowledge they need to carry over skills learned.
